LIFEWAYS Project
The LIFEWAYS Project is a national suicide prevention initiative led by The University of Melbourne and supported by seven universities and organisations, including Everymind. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, the project aims to strengthen suicide prevention research and translate findings into policy and practice.
Everymind supports the project by providing senior leadership representation in the LIFEWAYS Consortium and Steering Committee and contributing to deliverables in three workstreams: Consulting with Stakeholders, Creating Translational Tools, and Implementing Change.
To date, key activities have included assessing the knowledge translation needs of the Australian suicide prevention sector and developing a Suicide prevention implementation hub—a resource designed to help the suicide prevention sector better understand and leverage implementation science.
