Jon has a long history in the construction industry, and up until a year ago, he ran his own plumbing business. He also has a long history of personal experience with suicide and related alcohol and drug issues associated with this.
After losing his son to suicide in 2019, Jon knew his calling was working full time in the suicide prevention sector, and he now works full time with Roses in the Ocean as the Community-led Safe Space Project Coordinator, amongst other things.
“Suicide prevention is my passion and my calling in life. I see myself as being a voice for the left behind,” Jon Eddy.
