Take part in a new national survey on reporting of alcohol and other drugs

Everymind's Mindframe team is encouraging all Australians to take part in a new survey investigating the attitudes and perceptions of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) in the media.

The survey will help refine new guidelines to support responsible media coverage and encourage increased help-seeking behaviour in the community.

Building on two decades of work in the suicide and mental health sector, the team at Everymind, which manages Mindframe, will be working towards the new AOD guidelines which are set for launch later this year.

The ‘Attitudes to media coverage of Alcohol & Other Drugs Survey’ will run for an eight week period, and is open to participants over 18 years currently living in Australia.

As well as media professionals, the survey will reach out to encourage participation from communication practitioners, health sector professionals or community members.

To complete the survey visit the Mindframe AOD Survey.
