Everymind jointly launches Coronavirus (COVID-19) survey to understand impact on Australian media, marketing and creative industries

In a follow up to the Mentally Healthy 2020 study, Everymind together with Never Not Creative and UnLtd has today launched a survey to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the mental health and wellbeing of those working in the media, marketing and creative industries within Australia.

The Mentally Healthy COVID-19 survey is a short, five minute ‘pulse study', which will compare the stress, depression and anxiety levels of professionals before and during the COVID-19 restrictions.

It will also assess at the key stressors and how the Depression, Anxiety & Stress Scale (DASS) score has shifted during this time.

Everymind Acting Program Manager, Mental Health and Research, Dr Sally Fitzpatrick, said it was more important than ever to understand about the specific needs of those across multiple sectors and industries who have been significantly impacted by this challenging time.

“We’re looking forward to learning more about the specific needs of those working in the media, marketing and creative industries and in turn how we can best meet this need now and into the future,” Dr Fitzpatrick said.

The Mentally Healthy COVID-19 survey is open from 29 April until 8 May 2020 with results to be revealed late May.

The survey takes approximately 5-8 mins to complete and all responses are anonymous, strictly confidential and only personally de-identified data will be reported.

Anyone who is currently working or has worked in the media, marketing or creative industry in the last 12 months is encouraged to participate in the online survey.
