Tegan graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2003 with a Bachelor of Social Work.
Tegan commenced at Everymind in early 2013. Tegan has experience in project management in health settings with expertise in suicide prevention.
As a Coordinator for the Newcastle trial site of LifeSpan, Tegan leads the implementation of nine evidence-based suicide prevention strategies within the Newcastle LGA.
Before starting work on LifeSpan, Tegan was acting as Program Manager and has also been a Projects Coordinator with responsibility for the operational management of federally, state and locally funded projects related to mental health promotion, illness prevention, suicide prevention and early intervention.
Prior to joining the Institute, Tegan has worked in CAMHS special projects and community teams, as well as in hospital settings working with children, young people and families.
