Ellen Kellett began working at Everymind in July 2017. She has a background in child protection and early intervention programs for youth at risk of homelessness. Ellen has worked extensively with vulnerable families since 2007.
Ellen holds a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Community Development, Politics and Policy Studies from Southern Cross University (2006). She has a diverse background in government and non-government sectors working as case manager and advocate for vulnerable families. Ellen has worked internationally on community capacity building projects and has experience in design, implementation and evaluation of projects aimed at enhancing positive outcomes for children, young people and their families. Ellen has previously worked for Centre for Community Child Health on projects aimed at creating a positive transition to school for children and their families.
Ellen is currently working as a project officer on the Mental Health and Research team, contributing to the Mental Health and Small Business project. She is passionate about promotion of mental health and wellbeing and values being able to contribute to positive outcomes for the community.
