Mindframe’s communications work to feature at this year’s ANZCA Conference

The Hunter Institute of Mental Health’s Mindframe team is pleased to again be presenting as part of the annual Australian and New Zealand Communications Association conference in Sydney this week.

The team will showcase its collaborative work with the media and communications organisations, focusing on aspects of the conference theme, Communication Worlds: Access, Voice, Diversity, Engagement.

Hunter Institute Project Lead Sara Bartlett is looking forward to the conference and the opportunity to share ideas and connect with new partners across the communications sector.

“Mental health and suicide prevention are issues of national importance. How we communicate about these issues and the things we express publicly through media and social media have an impact and can make a difference.

“I am looking forward to presenting on the work of Mindframe and to share our team’s knowledge about best practice communication of mental illness and suicide,” she said.

The Australian and New Zealand Communications Association Conference will bring together researchers, students, and teachers from an expanding array of communication disciplines for the annual conference facilitated this year by the University of Sydney from 5th – 7th July.
