LifeSpan is a new evidence-based model for integrated, regional suicide prevention in Australia, involving the simultaneous implementation of nine key strategies to reduce suicide.
The LifeSpan Newcastle Suicide Prevention Collaborative is an alliance of individuals, organisations and stakeholders who are interested in suicide prevention, committed to using the evidence base to guide practice, and willing to work together to reduce suicide in Newcastle and the Hunter region.
Collaborative meetings provide an opportunity for people to get an update on project activities, ask questions, raise issues and find out more about how they can play a role in local suicide prevention.
