Prevention is at the heart of everything we do at Everymind.
We work across the lifespan and in the settings where people live, work, study and play.
At Everymind, we are innovative and flexible in our approach and we value working in partnership. We believe every sector, every community and every individual can make a meaningful contribution to improving mental health and preventing suicide.
In October 2017, we rebranded!
After 25 years of working locally and nationally in the prevention of mental ill-health and the prevention of suicide, the Hunter Institute of Mental Health rebranded to Everymind.
Our Institute was established and named in 1992 when our work was focused solely on the Hunter region. Since 1997, we have been working nationally in the prevention of mental ill-health and the prevention of suicide.
The name Everymind assists us to better communicate the work that we do, as well as the way we go about doing it.
To coincide with the rebrand, we updated our Strategic Plan: Towards 2020 which outlines our five key priorities, our beliefs and ways of working.
